The 32nd Men's Hockey Champions Trophy took place from July 31 to August 8, 2010 in Mönchengladbach . At the tournament, which was held in the hockey park , Germany hosted the most important men's hockey competition after the Olympic Games and World Championships for the fifth time .

Australia won the title for the third time in a row with a 4-0 win in the final against England . The Australian Jamie Dwyer was also named the best player of the tournament. A total of seven players share the title of top scorer with five goals each, including four Australians. The best young player was the Australian Jason Wilson , the best goalkeeper of the Dutch Jaap Stockmann . The team from the Netherlands received the Fairplay Award .
