The 29th Men's Champions Trophy in hockey took place from November 29th to December 9th, 2007 in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur . This was the second time since 1993 that the city has hosted this annual event for the world's top hockey nations. Originally the Pakistani city of Lahore was planned as the venue, but due to the tense security situation in Pakistan and the associated cancellations of some participating countries, the international hockey association FIH decided to relocate it.
