The Oro uostas stop ( Lithuanian Oro uostas for: airport ) is a stop in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius .
The stop is located on the Vilnius – Baranavichy railway line and serves as a link to Vilnius Airport . It is operated by Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai with two rail buses of the 620M series, which were delivered in 2008 by Pojazdy Szynowe Pesa Bydgoszcz (PESA).
The trains shuttle between the airport and Vilnius train station in the city center .
history
Construction of the station began in June 2008 and was opened on October 2, 2008 near the terminal building. This makes Vilnius the only airport in the Baltic States with a direct connection to the railway network.
