Halvdan Sivertsen (born January 5, 1950 in Tromsø ) is a Norwegian songwriter who was also active as an actor and is politically active.

Life

He grew up in Bodø and lives there too. He won the Spellemannpris six times , which is something like the Norwegian Grammy , and was awarded the Nordland Culture Prize in 2000 . He was also known through the children's program Labbetuss (roughly German: Trotteltroll ) from NRK television in the 1980s, in which he was an actor . Even after that, he appeared more frequently on television. His song Kjærlighetsvisa (German: love song ) was voted the number 1 summer hit in northern Norway in July 2008. Almost a third of the SMS votes cast were for the song. The vote was jointly organized by the newspaper Avisa Nordland and Radio 3 Bodø .

In 2010, Sivertsen received the award for the best song text from Norsk forening for komponister og tekstforfattere (Norwegian Association for Composers and Lyricists), or NOPA (Norske Populærautorer) for Dødsbra dop (German roughly: drug to die for ), a song with which he critically examines the use of the Norwegian armed forces in Afghanistan . Sivertsen has long been politically active in other areas as well. So he won a seat in the Kommunestyre- og Fylkestingsvalg (for example: municipal and provincial parliamentary elections) in 1987 for the Bodø Sosialistisk Venstreparti (Socialist Left Party Bodø), although he was only 43 on the list.
