The Hamburger Rechtsnotizen (HRN, spelling HAMBURGER RECHTSNOTIZEN) is a legal journal published by students of the Faculty of Law at the University of Hamburg .

The trade journal is self-published by the Hamburger Rechtsnotizen Association and has around 50 to 100 pages per issue with a print run of around 700 copies. The HRN was published every six months until 2017 and annually since then. Since the same year, the issues have been available free of charge on the magazine's website.

The editorial office is based in Hamburg . She is led by Professor Dr. Dr. Milan Kuhli looks after.

How to quote

Individual articles are usually referred to by specifying the author, the abbreviation "HRN", the year and the page, usually omitting the abbreviation "S" for page.
