The general election in Bremen in 1963 was the sixth election for citizenship in the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen . It took place on September 29, 1963 .

Result

The turnout was 76.1 percent. The SPD in Bremen achieved an absolute majority of the seats for the third time in a row and continued to rule with the FDP in Senate Kaisen VII . The DP was last able to enter a state parliament.
