Han-'Ilat

Han-'Ilat is an ancient Arabic female deity. It is attested in several dedicatory inscriptions from Tell el-Maschuta . The name Han-'Ilat is made up of the early North Arabic article * han and the term for female deity . Han-'Ilat is the ultimate goddess . She is later known as the pre-Muslim deity al-Lāt from Islamic tradition.
