1 Jūrokusai, Haru, Mada Tsubomi ( 十六 歳 、 春 、 ま だ つ ぼ み ) 0Apr 3, 2011 Mari Okada I'm 16, it's spring and I'm still a bud.
Ohana experiences a completely normal day at school. When she comes home, her mother Satsuki and her lover are waiting for them. This recently accumulated debt and disclosed the address to creditors. In order not to pay the debt, Satsuki and her lover want to flee. Meanwhile, Ohana is said to be living with her grandmother Sui Shijima. On this occasion, Ohana meets with her best friend Kōichi Tanemura and tells him about her current situation and that she has to leave tomorrow. Surprised by this, he decides to confess his love to Ohana, but is simply pushed aside by her. So he withdraws, and the next morning Ohana begins the journey to her grandmother's estate in Ishikawa Prefecture without saying goodbye. The property is a great Onsen - Ryokan from the Taisho period . However, Ohana unknowingly leaves a bad impression on Minko Tsurugi, an employee of about the same age. So she is shocked that Minko then tells her face that she should die. The first time she met her grandmother Sui Shijima, she did not fare much better. Although she is allowed to live in the house, she also has to work and is not treated like a granddaughter, as Ohana expected. Depressed by this, Ohana first takes courage and decides to use the circumstances to change himself and to convince the employees of Kissuisō of themselves.
2 Fukushū Suru wa, Makanai ni Ari ( 復讐 す る は 、 ま か な い に あ り ) Apr 10, 2011 Mari Okada Revenge is best served cold.
In the next few days she has to get used to the strict new life. Nako Oshimizu is assigned to her as a trainer. Since Nako prefers to remain silent, she hardly receives any helpful information. So it happens that Ohana, gripped by excessive willingness to work, tidies up the room of the guest and writer Tarō Jirōmaru, which she finds in a very neglected state. However, she also disposed of the crumpled up documents at the same time. Then she also passes the kitchen, in which Minko is again presented as completely incapable by the second, extremely short-tempered cook Tōru Miyagishi, because she let something burn. Ohana, who had to prepare local food for years, uses this opportunity to prepare an alternative breakfast herself. However, while the food is praised by everyone, including guests, it doesn't have the desired effect. Minko insinuates that Ohana deliberately stabbed her in the back and repeats that she should just die. After Tarō has noticed the lack of his documents and discussed angrily with the inn manager, Ohana takes all the blame and covers Nako. A little later, Tōru asks Ohana to go shopping with him. However, he is so rude that Ohana angrily gets out during the journey and goes back to the Kissuisō. Once there, she meets Minko and Nako, who try to avoid her. Ohana takes them by surprise and lets them reveal their favorite food. The next morning Ohana cooks breakfast for the staff again. While carrying out the trash, Ohana meets the receptionist Tomoe Wajima, who tells her that Ohana put the trash in the wrong place. Then Ohana begins to read the Taro document. She discovers that Tarō writes erotic novels and uses the Kissuisō staff as models for the unusual fantasies.
3 Hobiron ( ホ ビ ロ ン ) Apr 17, 2011 Mari Okada Balut.
Minko and Nako keep an eye out for Ohana in the staff room. When they find a half-finished breakfast, they go in search of Ohana with the help of some employees. Meanwhile, she is tied up and gagged in the room of the writer Taro, who is trying out turtle bondage on her. When he desperately gives up and a self-pity aria begins, the now liberated Ohana tries to build him up by using his script. When finally Nako, Tomoe and the technician Denroku Tasukawa stand in front of Taro's door, he can no longer keep Ohana's "kidnapping" a secret and flees with the truck of the inn. A chase breaks out and ends on the cliff. When the manager reveals his wrong game and encourages him to work to win a literary prize, Taro's depressive attitude wins again and he jumps into the sea. Nako doesn't hesitate and saves him. The manager still grants Tarō a room in the Kissuisō, on condition that he now has to help out as a worker. Everyone eats the now completed breakfast together and Ohana is very happy that her food tastes good too. This throws the word hôt vit lôn ( ホ ビ ロ ン , Hobiron , dt. Balut ) at Ohana . Ohana later finds out the meaning of the word in a notebook by Minko.
4th Aosagi Rhapsody ( 青 鷺 ラ プ ソ デ ィ ー ) Apr 24, 2011 Mari Okada Heron Rhapsody.
The new trimester begins and Ohana goes to her new school for the first time, which Minko and Nako also attend. She is placed in the same class. Because she is from Tokyo, she is enthusiastically accepted into the class. During the break, she is besieged by her classmates, until finally Yuina Wakura, the heiress of the Fukuya Inn, frees her from the crowd. Ohana later observes how Minko, when asked which man is the right one for her, gives a very detailed description, whereupon the questioning boy withdraws. In the afternoon, Ohana and Nako do a courier service and go to the Fukuya Inn. On the way back Nako tells about the Bonbori Festival, which takes place every year in October. When Ohana relaxes in the bathroom in the evening and Minko comes in, Ohana gossips about Tōru. However, Minko describes the cook in exactly the same words that she used in school. Ohana concludes that Minko is in love with Tōru. When she says this, Minko leaves the bathroom furious. The next morning, Ohana and Minko see Tōru picking up Yuina by motorcycle from the Fukuya Inn.
5 Namida no Itamae Bojō ( 涙 の 板 前 慕 情 ) 0May 1, 2011 Tatsuto Higuchi A tearful kitchen romance.
The next day, Tōru does not show up for work. It is rumored that Taro has received a job offer from the Fukuya Inn. Tomoe tells of bits of conversation between Renji Togashi, the chef, and Tōru. Minko is very worried and can no longer concentrate on her work at all. Meanwhile, Tomoe tells of the time when Minko started working at Kissuisō. Although Minko had no school leaving certificate and poor cooking skills, Tōru took her on as a kitchen helper and student. Touched by the story, Ohana tries to support Minko. When this does not have the desired effect, Ohana decides to go to the Fukuya inn and get Tōru back. Once there, she causes a riot that calls the manager Shigeko Wakura on the scene. The misunderstanding can be cleared up after a short conversation. Tōru only stood in for a sick cook that day. Furthermore, he only did a little jaunt with Yuina.
6th Nothing Venture Nothing Win 0May 8, 2011 Tatsuhiko Urahata Who dares nothing, wins nothing.
At the end of the month, the manager pays her employees' salaries in cash. Ohana is thrilled with her 20,000 yen as her mother didn't give her nearly as much at home for the same work. The next morning Ohana made the first acquaintance with Takako Kawajiri, a management consultant and friend of Enishi Shijima, the son of the manager and junior boss of Kissuisō. Takako suggests changing the image of housekeeping and providing revealing outfits that Ohana and Nako are reluctant to wear. When the first guests arrive, however, the plan backfires. When Ohana and the others return from school the next day, they see Takako being released from her duties and driving away. In the evening Ohana tries to cheer up the ailing Enishi. For a moment he sees his sister again in Ohana, who always cheered him up in the same way. The next day, Denroku leads Ohana to a hidden room that contains many of the manager's designed housekeeping clothes. Nako and Ohana put them on immediately and start working. The clothes are not only liked by the staff, but also by the guests.
