Mari Okada ( Japanese 岡田 麿 里 , Okada Mari ; * 1976 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a Japanese screenwriter for anime .

Life

Mari Okada began scriptwriting for a direct-to-video production in 1996 . She then wrote acts for manga , computer games and radio plays. After writing the script for several episodes of the DT Eightron anime series in 1998 , she shifted her focus to anime. In 2006 she held the position of a series kōsei ( シ リ ー ズ 構成 ) for the anime Sasami: Mahō Shōjo Club for the first time , which is the name of the lead screenwriter who heads the (episode) screenwriters ( 脚本 , kyakuhon ) in anime television series responsible for the overall script. In this position she was for series True Tears , Canaan , Toradora! , Kuroshitsuji , Hanasaku Iroha , and Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. responsible, for which she received the award of the 16th animation Kobe in 2011 . For the latter series, she wrote a two-part novel at the same time as it was broadcast.
