The Hanauer rubber shoe factory AG (short HGF) was a company that rubber footwear of all kinds in Hanau produced and sold. The company was founded on July 1, 1925 as oHG Hanauer Gummischuhfabrik Westheimer & Co., Hanau a. M., founded and converted into a stock corporation on March 28, 1938 . It produced gymnastic, tennis, sports and fantasy shoes with vulcanized rubber soles, overshoes, professional shoes and rubber soles. The company still existed after the Second World War and showed a profit of 144,694 DM for 1950 .
