A hand band saw is an electrical tool that consists of a motor and a metal saw band welded to form a closed ring . Hand band saws are small, hand-held band saws that are equipped with one or two handles. The band saw blade , which is available in all common teeth and sets, is guided over two rollers, so that an endless , i.e. H. an uninterrupted cut is possible.

Hand band saws can be used to saw wood , metal , and plastic , but the main focus of use is on woodworking.

Hand band saws are very suitable for sawing curves, for example. They are also suitable for flush sawing. Hand band saws are versatile machines in carpentry .
