The commercial and private bank was a German credit institute .

history

After the Second World War and the loss of the East German branches, it reopened as Westdeutsche Bank für Landwirtschaft AG in Cologne . Later the company was renamed Bank für Landwirtschaft AG .

The HP bank operated 15 branches in major West German cities.

In 1981 AMRO Bank NV Amsterdam-Rotterdam bought the majority of the shares in Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank , Frankfurt am Main . In 1986 the name was changed again to Amro Handelsbank AG , which later merged into ABN AMRO Bank .
