The gloves are part of the coronation regalia of the Roman-German emperors . They were made in the royal workshops in Palermo , the Nobiles Officinae , around 1220 AD.

Appearance

The gloves are made of velvet , with gold embroidery , niello , pearls and inserted precious stones .

The gloves have been in the Vienna treasury since the late 18th century . Your inventory number is SK_WS_XIII_11.
