Gustav Johanning

Gustav Johanning (born September 29, 1899 in Schröttinghausen ; † August 21, 1970 ) was a German local politician and district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school , he studied law and economics and received his doctorate in economics. From 1918 to 1919 he was chairman of the youth group of the German People's Party in Bünde .

Johanning was HR manager at Focke-Wulf from 1945 to 1946, after which he worked as an entrepreneur. From 1954 he worked for various authorities (City of Siegen, Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia). From 1960 to 1964 he was police director in Mönchengladbach .

He was married and had one child.

From April 20, 1947 to June 17, 1950 Johanning was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was  directly elected in constituency 148 Detmold II.

He was a member of the district council of the former Detmold district from 1946 to 1952. He was also a member of the representative office of the Lippe regional association .

Public offices

From October 22, 1946 to December 8, 1952 he was district administrator of the Detmold district.

He was active in numerous committees of the district council NW .
