As a hand-held transmitter is referred to small-sized remote controls for various technical equipment such as garage door openers or the central locking of cars that can be integrated into a key.

A hand-held transmitter must be calibrated before being used, i.e. H. matched to the receiving device so that the receiver recognizes the transmitted signal.
