Haßberge Nature Park
The Haßberge Nature Park is a 804 km² nature park in the northernmost part of the Franconian Keuper lands ( Bavaria , Germany).

The Haßberge Nature Park, in which the Haßberge rise, lies between Schweinfurt in the west and Bamberg in the southeast . Its highest point is the Nassacher Höhe at 512 m above sea level. NN in the district of Haßberge (southwest of Bundorf ).
Landscape and history
The Haßberge are Germany's castle corners , which is also what the nature park's logo refers to. The hilly landscape of the Haßberge Nature Park is characterized by mixed forests , numerous rivers , grassland, dry biotopes and old vineyards. 20 prehistoric fortresses and ramparts, 15 castles and castle ruins as well as 26 palaces are located in the area of the nature park and are made accessible by a castles and palaces hiking trail.
