Craft design comprises creative processes and services in the craft . This includes the design skills in the individual trades and services such as B. Communication design , marketing or arts and crafts qualifications.

Craft design is part of the tradition of the arts and crafts schools , Bauhaus and craft art schools . education

In 2012, 12 craft institutions are offering training courses for craft designers , designers in the craft trades or project designers . Entry requirement is a completed apprenticeship.
