Hannah Biedermann

Hannah Biedermann (* 1982 in Bonn ) is a German theater director , dramaturge , theater pedagogue and actress .

Life

After graduating from high school, Biedermann studied acting at the Drama School Theater der Keller in Cologne and then the diploma course in scenic arts at the University of Hildesheim .

As a theater director she staged at the JungeEnsembleStuttgart, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Stadttheater Ingolstadt , Staatstheater Braunschweig , Theater Bremen, Nationaltheater Mannheim and at the Berlin Grips-Theater .

Biedermann worked from 2013 to 2015 as a dramaturge and director at the Comedia Theater in Cologne .

In 2007 she founded the theater group pulk fiktion , which is looking for cross-genre and interdisciplinary forms beyond classic narratives for young audiences. All pieces have been invited to various national and international festivals. Many productions have received awards.

She works for festivals like SPURENSUCHE - nationwide meeting for independent children and youth theaters and AUGENBLICK MAL! 2009/2011. In addition, Biedermann is regularly active as a theater pedagogue, worked with people with disabilities and led workshops a. a. at the Theaterhaus Jena , at the Grips Theater and for the cultural agents for creative schools , as well as for the Dramaturgische Gesellschaft.

Awards

Hannah Biedermann received the German Theater Prize Der Faust in 2017 in the category Best Director Children's and Youth Theater for either and (Young Ensemble Stuttgart). In 2016 she was also awarded the sponsorship award for young artists of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and received the George Tabori sponsorship award 2016 with her group pulk fiktion , the largest nationwide award for independent theater.
