Hannes Haybäck

Johann Haybäck (* 1931 ; † January 13, 2018 in St. Florian , Upper Austria ) was an Austrian art teacher, university professor and rector of the Linz Art Academy .

Life

Haybäck sponsored the Mag. Art. et phil. In 1973 Haybäck came to the Linz University for Artistic and Industrial Design and played a key role in developing the field of art education. From 1981 to 1989 he was the successor to Helmuth Gsöllpointner Rector of the Linz Art Academy. He was also involved in drawing up the curriculum for the subject of art education for secondary schools.

Haybäck lived in St. Florian near Linz and was buried there. Son Johannes Haybäck is a university professor for medicine in Graz.
