Michael Halbartschlager (born September 4, 1992 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Halbartschlager began his career at Union Grünburg-Steinbach . From the 2008/09 season he was used for the club's combat team in the eight-class 2nd class .

In January 2010 he moved to the fourth-class SV Grün-Weiß Micheldorf . He made his debut in the Upper Austrian League in April 2010 when he came on as a substitute for Wolfgang Ecklbauer on the 16th matchday of the 2009/10 season against the amateurs of LASK in the 60th minute. He scored his first goal for Micheldorf in May 2010 in a 2-1 win against SV Sierning .

In his five and a half years with Micheldorf, he played 127 games in the Upper Austrian League and scored ten goals. For the 2015/16 season he moved to the regional division SK Vorwärts Steyr .

In July 2015, he played his first game in the regional league when he was in the starting line-up against SPG FC Pasching / LASK Juniors on the first day of that season . He scored his first goal in the Regionalliga in the same month in a 3-0 win against SV Wallern .

With Steyr he rose to the 2nd division in 2018 . In the promotion season 2017/18 he was used in all 30 games and scored five goals. He made his debut in the second-highest division in July 2018 when he played against SV Ried on the first matchday of the 2018/19 season .
