Philipp Ablinger (born November 11, 2001 in Linz ) is an Austrian soccer player .

Career

Ablinger began his career with ASKÖ Blaue Elf Linz . For the 2013/14 season he switched to the youth team at FC Pasching . From the 2014/15 season he played in the LASK youth team . He came to AKA Linz for the 2015/16 season .

In September 2017 he also played for the first time for the amateurs of his home club FC Blau-Weiß Linz in the sixth-class district league . In May 2019 he was in the professional squad for the first time against SK Vorwärts Steyr , but was not used. With the amateurs, he rose to the state league in 2019 . For the 2019/20 season, he moved firmly into the professional squad of Linz.

He made his debut in the 2nd division in August 2019 when he came on as a substitute for Oliver Filip in the 67th minute against SK Austria Klagenfurt on the fifth matchday of that season . By the end of the season he made ten second division appearances for Linz. For the 2020/21 season he was awarded to the league competitor SK Vorwärts Steyr .

His twin brother Mathias is also a soccer player.
