Aleksandar Maric (born November 7, 1999 in Steyr ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Maric started his career at SK Vorwärts Steyr . In June 2016 he played for the first time for the second team of Steyr in the seventh class 1st class . By the end of the season he made two appearances for Steyr II. In the 2016/17 season he made 19 appearances in the seventh-highest division and at the end of the season rose to the sixth-class district league with Steyr II .

In this, however, he only came to one use, after which he switched to league competitor ASV Movement Steyr during the winter break of the 2017/18 season. For exercise, he came to ten missions by the end of the season, in which he scored one goal. In the 2018/19 season he played 20 games for Steyr Movement.

For the 2019/20 season he returned to the amateurs of Vorwärts Steyr. In May 2020 he received a contract with Vorwärts that ran until June 2022 and was promoted to the first team's squad. He made his debut in the 2nd division in June 2020 when he came on as a substitute for Mirsad Sulejmanović in the 87th minute against SKU Amstetten on the 23rd match day of the 2019/20 season .
