Sascha Fahrngruber (born May 14, 1989 in Scheibbs ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Fahrngruber began his career at FCU Frankenfels . In 2003 he came to AKA St. Pölten . In 2007 he moved to the regional division SC Zwettl . He made his regional league debut in August 2007 when he was in the starting line-up against ASK Baumgarten on the first day of the 2007/08 season and was replaced by Martin Reif in the 85th minute.

For the 2008/09 season he moved to league rivals FC Waidhofen / Ybbs . In 2010 he was able to become champions of the Regionalliga Ost with Waidhofen. In 2011 he moved to the second division SKN St. Pölten . He made his debut in the second division in July 2011 when he was in the starting line-up against Wolfsberger AC on the first day of the 2011/12 season.

After half a year at SKN, he moved to the regional league team SKU Amstetten in January 2012 . With Amstetten he rose to the 2nd division in 2018. In the six and a half seasons in the Regionalliga Fahrngruber completed 176 games in which he was able to score two goals. After the 2018/19 season, he left Amstetten and moved to league rivals SK Vorwärts Steyr .
