Mathias Wolfgang Ablinger (born November 11, 2001 in Linz ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Ablinger began his career with ASKÖ Blaue Elf Linz . For the 2013/14 season he switched to the youth team at FC Pasching . From the 2014/15 season he played in the LASK youth team . He came to AKA Linz for the 2015/16 season .

In September 2017 he also played for the first time for the amateurs of his home club FC Blau-Weiß Linz in the sixth-class district league . With the amateurs, he rose to the state league in 2019 . For the 2019/20 season, he moved to the professional squad of Linz.

He made his debut in the second division in June 2020 when he came on as a substitute for Simon Gasperlmair in the 88th minute against FC Wacker Innsbruck on the 22nd matchday of that season .

After the 2019/20 season, he left Blau-Weiß Linz and moved to regional division FC Wels .

Personal

His twin brother Philipp is also a soccer player.
