Hannes Neubauer (* 1966 in Bamberg ) is a German illustrator , comic artist and comic author.

Career

Hannes Neubauer grew up in Lower Franconia and began drawing his first comic strips during his school days . He studied at the Westend Art School and the Frankfurt Academy for Communication and Design. He has been working as a freelance illustrator since 1994. He lives and works in Frankfurt am Main .

Illustrations

The focus of his work is on illustrations for advertising, magazines, CD and audio book covers, as well as character development, illustrations for children and young people.

In addition, he devotes himself to freelance work in comics and cartoon.

style

Stylistically, his works are inspired by the Franco-Belgian Ligne Claire as well as by New Wave, Funny and Semi-Funny.
