Hannes Seyer

Hannes Seyer (born November 7, 1967 in Alberndorf in the Riedmark ) is an Austrian table tennis national player , trainer and functionary.

Career

Hannes Seyer was nominated four times for participation in the European Youth Championships. Several times he won the Austrian championships in the age groups U14 to U21. In 1990 he became national champion of the federal state of Upper Austria in singles and doubles. He played in the Austrian Bundesliga with the clubs DSG U. Waldegg Linz, ATSV Lenzing and ASKÖ Glas Wiesbauer Mauthausen.

In 1991 he took part in the World Championships in Chiba , Japan . Here he reached 9th place in the team competition.

In the 1990s he began his 20-year coaching activity in Upper Austria. From 2015 he also took on official functions, for example as Vice President Sport in the Austrian Table Tennis Association until 2017. In 2013 he was awarded the ÖTTV Silver Medal for his special services as an official.

Private

Hannes Seyer is married and has two children.
