The Hannoversche Hofkapelle is a German orchestra .

history

The orchestra follows the tradition of the historical court orchestras and performs in both chamber and symphonic formations. Its members also play in other formations on the European baroque scene. The repertoire of the Hannoversche Hofkapelle includes baroque music , classical works (especially Mozart's operas ) and romantic music .
