Life

Hanns-Martin Wagner's works are mostly kinetic objects with ball tracks . With his professional training and activities as a machine draftsman, deacon, youth worker and supervisor / coach, he is considered a career changer in his current field of activity.

In 2000 he set up the bilingual web portal Kugelbahn.ch and founded the Sinnwerkstatt. The Kugelbahn.ch website developed into an open portal for kinetic art , marble runs , automata and mechanical toys in the first year . In 2002, he founded the Kinetic Webring with Bernward Frank . One of his first major commissions is the design and construction of an interactive, over 7 m high marble run for the children's museum in King Hussein Park in Amman (Jordan). The marble run with the name “Kinetic Structure” will be completed in autumn 2006.

Hanns-Martin Wagner realized the project “The Water Tower Concert” for Olafur Eliasson, Kunsthaus Zug (CH). From 2006 to 2007, in collaboration with Mark Bischof and other partners, the planning and construction of “Aion”, the world's largest marble run clock with an entry in the Guinness Book, followed. In 2009 he worked on the project “The Three Graces” on behalf of artist Anja Luithle. The three four and a half meter high dress figures in the Bavarian Textile and Industry Museum in Augsburg (D) received the Silver Award in 2010 and other awards from the German Art Directors Club 2010. In front of the F.3 family and leisure pool in Fellbach is the sculpture Die Springerin , he also realized on behalf of Luithle.
