Hans-Carl Jongebloed (* 1946 in Papenburg ) is a German professional and business educator .

biography

Jongebloed studied economics and social sciences at the University of Cologne from 1968 to 1974 with a focus on economics, vocational and social education. After the second state examination for teaching at vocational schools, he worked as a research assistant and academic adviser at the Institute for Vocational, Economic and Social Pedagogy in Cologne.

As part of the doctoral process , Jongebloed was awarded the University Prize of the University of Cologne in 1983 .

Since 1994 he has held the chair for vocational and business education at the Philosophical Faculty of the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel ; he is now retired.

Together with Martin Twardy, Jongebloed is a representative of a deontological-neonormativistic conception of science , which sees itself as the so-called Cologne School in contrast to the value neutrality paradigm of German educational science ( Brezinka ) and the socially critical approach of the Frankfurt School ( Mollenhauer ).

He is co-author of the three-volume compendium of subject didactics in economics. His main research interests are: reduction and transformation ; Motivation , rationality problems in subject-didactic decision-making processes ; Quality criteria of measurement theory as well as the complementary interpretation of basic pedagogical questions.
