Hans-Dieter Leuenberger (born August 9, 1931 in Thun , Switzerland ; † June 4, 2007 in Tenerife ) was a Swiss pastor, psychotherapist and esotericist .

Life

After studying theology, Leuenberger worked as an evangelical reformed pastor and as a theater director (in the 1970s for example at the Neue Volksbühne Bern). Then he trained as a psychotherapist.

In the course of the “wave of esotericism” he made very individual contributions to understanding them with his basic works on tarot and western esotericism, with which he was able to address a larger audience. This is Esoteric , its introduction to the esoteric worldview, was published in the eighth edition in 1999 and was also printed in Czech and Polish. He also spread his thoughts in numerous lectures, radio broadcasts and magazine articles.

He spent the last years of his life in Tenerife.
