Hans-Günther Zimmermann

Hans-Günther Zimmermann (* 1951 , nicknamed Jimmy ) is a German youth book author .

Life

Zimmermann lived in Böblingen from 1955 to 1960 . Then his family moved to Stuttgart and later to Freiburg, where he also studied.

Together with his wife Irene Zimmermann , he wrote four books in the series “The great trio”. The title "Maths, Stress and Lovesickness", which appeared in the girls' book series Freche Mädchen - naughty books , was a great success and was also published in English in 2004 under the title "Maths, Stress and a Lovesick Heart". More girls' books by Zimmermann appeared; after separating from his wife, however, he did not write any more girls' books himself. Zimmermann has lived in Stuttgart since 2001 and has been working as a German teacher at a Waldorf school since 2003.
