Hans-Hermann Dubben

Hans-Hermann Dubben (born May 6, 1955 in Eutin ) is a German physicist at the University of Hamburg .

Life

After graduating from high school in Timmendorfer Strand in 1973, Hans-Herman Dubben began studying physics. After graduating, Dubben became a research assistant at the University of Hamburg. 1987 was followed by the promotion of Dr. rer. nat., then a stay as a visiting scholar at Northwestern University in Chicago . In 2000 he completed his habilitation in biophysics and radiation biology and received the Hermann Holthusen Prize from the German Society for Radiation Oncology (DEGRO). In 2003 he moved to the Institute for General Medicine, where he has been a member of the doctoral committee for the medical field since 2005. In 2006 he also received a teaching position at the Department of Psychology at the University of Hamburg. Dubben is the author of several books.

Research projects

Hans-Hermann Dubben dealt with the development of popular scientific information material on the problem complex of publication bias as well as errors and fallacies in biomedical research and the logic of probability .
