Hans-Hermann Schwick (born December 31, 1947 in Bielefeld ) is a lawyer in Bielefeld and former president of the DSC Arminia Bielefeld sports club .

After completing his law studies in Freiburg im Breisgau and Münster , Schwick has been working as a lawyer in Bielefeld since 1981. From 1990 to 2010 he was also a board member of the DSC Arminia Bielefeld sports club, where he took over the honorary office of president in 1991 . He was the longest serving president in German professional football. In addition, he was chairman of the supervisory board of the licensed players department that was spun off from the club ( DSC Arminia Bielefeld GmbH & Co. KGaA ).

In the course of the descent of Arminia in 2009, there was considerable criticism of the entire club management. In the course of this development, Hans Hermann Schwick announced that he would resign as president of the DSC at the annual general meeting on June 22, 2009. After continued criticism, he also made his position as chairman of the board of the outsourced licensed player department available. He does not want to "stand in the way of a new beginning". However, a surprising development at the annual general meeting meant that Schwick was re-elected President after his resignation. This resulted from the fact that neither of the two candidates standing for election could receive the necessary support. Klaus Daudel, who was sent into the race as a candidate from circles of the association's committees, lacked the support of the members, whereas the candidate of the opposition group "Critical Armines" Dirk Obermann received little support in the association's bodies and on the part of the sponsors. Since both candidates decided not to run after a turbulent session, Hans-Hermann Schwick stood for election again after the chairman of the session, Michael Vesper , and was elected President for a further two years. On June 4, 2010, Schwick announced his resignation again.

Schwick is a member of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg student union .
