Hans-Jörg Schmidt-Trenz

Hans-Jörg Schmidt-Trenz (born December 8, 1959 in Saarburg ) is a German economist.

Life

From 1988 to 1995 he was managing director of the Karlsruhe Chamber of Commerce and Industry. From 1996 to 2017 he was General Manager of the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce . Since 2000 he has been an adjunct professor of economics at the Saarland University , from 2004 to 2019 he was President of the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration and since 2008 Professor of Economics at the University of Hamburg .
