The Fairy Point is a tussock -covered and interspersed with rocky headland to the west of Bird Iceland before the north-west tip of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It is located separates Payne Creek in the north from Prince Creek in the south.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the headland in 1982 after brooding on Prince Creek fairy prion ( English fairy prion ).
