The Prince Creek is a bay on the west side of Bird Iceland before the west end of South Georgia . It is located north of Pio Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1977 after Peter Alexander Prince (1948–1998) who was involved in investigations of the British Antarctic Survey on the fur seal populations on Bird Island between 1971 and 1974 and who then led them from 1975 to 1976.
