Hans-Jürgen Fuchs

Hans-Jürgen Fuchs (* 1941 ; † April 2010 in Wiesbaden ) was a Hessian Romance scholar , editor, author and editor.

life and work

Fuchs received his doctorate in 1973 under Hans-Wilhelm Klein in Gießen with the thesis On the prehistory and semantics of French "amour-propre" (published under the title Semantic investigation on the history of "self-relatedness" as a prehistory of French "amour-propre", Stuttgart 1977) and was a high school teacher in Neu-Isenburg . He was involved in the International Multatuli Society and was a lecturer at Edition 6065. Publishing house for regional culture and history . His Hessian song book was particularly well known .
