Hans-Jürgen Liebscher

Hans-Jürgen Liebscher (born May 29, 1936 in Bautzen ) is a German hydrologist .

Hans-Jürgen Liebscher studied physics from 1956 to 1961 at the Technical University of Berlin and at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . During his studies he became a member of the Corps Teutonia Berlin (WSC) . In 1963 he received his doctorate as Dr. rer. nat. 1975 habilitation Liebscher at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn in the field of hydrometeorology . He taught there until 2001 in the field of hydrology. In 1986 he was appointed associate professor at the University of Bonn. He was department head in the Federal Institute for Hydrology in Koblenz.
