Hans-Jürgen Ziegler

Hans-Jürgen Ziegler (born May 12, 1951 ) is a former German pole vaulter .

In 1971 he was eleventh at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki , and in 1973 he won silver at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Rotterdam . In 1971 he became German champion, in 1970 German runner-up. In 1971 and 1972 he won the national title in the hall and was runner-up in 1973.

Hans-Jürgen Ziegler started for KSV Hessen Kassel and was headmaster of the Wilhelmsgymnasium Kassel from 2002 to 2013 .
