Hans-Joachim Speßhardt

Hans-Joachim Speßhardt (* 1935 in Berlin ) is a German painter and author. He lives and works in Berlin.

biography

Speßhardt studied at the Berlin master school for graphics with Kögler. In his oil paintings , which are usually around a meter tall, he mainly depicts the female body and associated attributes. He also creates pastel drawings and screen prints . Speßhardt has shown his works in The Hague at the International Gallery Orez and in other European cities and has received several awards. He is married and has two daughters. Hans-Joachim Speßhardt set up his first studio in 1961 after his wedding to Erika Speßhardt, née Höhne and cousin of Otto Höhne , in his apartment in Berlin-Charlottenburg, which was previously occupied by the actor Karl Ludwig Schreiber . Here he created most of his early works until 1972. Since 1972 his works have been created in his studio in Berlin-Kladow.

Hans-Joachim Speßhardt was a member of the German Association of Artists .
