Karl Ludwig Schreiber

Karl Ludwig Schreiber (born November 25, 1910 in Hanau , † April 1961 in Berlin-Charlottenburg ) was a German actor .

After secondary school he did his Abitur and studied theater studies at the University of Berlin . He took acting lessons from Ilka Grüning and made his debut at the Theater of St. Gallen . Then he was seen on stages in Leipzig and Berlin as a young lover.

In 1933 he immediately received the title role in Erich Waschneck's Abel with the harmonica . After a few other important roles, he was rarely cast in the following years. From 1940 to 1943 he was drafted into the war, after which he appeared at the Berlin artist stages.

After the end of the war, he worked at the Hebbel Theater and comedy until 1949 . As an extra, Schreiber still worked in a few films, his main field of activity was now that of a radio play speaker . He passed out of life voluntarily.
