Hans-Joachim Theuerkauf (* 1934 ) is a German cameraman. As the first cameraman, he mainly worked for NDR television and became known for his work on documentaries, crime series and feature films. His directors included Alfred Weidenmann , Dietrich Haugk , Wolfgang Petersen , Dieter Wedel , Klaus Wildenhahn and Claus Peter Witt . From 1971 to 1973 he worked for NDR as a cameraman in the Washington studio.
