Hans-Peter Buschheuer (born January 13, 1953 in Mallersdorf ) was editor-in-chief of the tabloid newspaper Berliner Kurier from 2003 to 2015 .

Buschheuer attended the state secondary school in Neufahrn / Ndb., Which he graduated with a middle school leaving certificate. From 1970 to 1972 he volunteered at the Straubinger Tagblatt and the Regensburger Woche . Buschheuer was editor-in-chief of the Nuremberg city ​​magazine Plärrer between 1981 and 1990 . From 1987 to 1990 he worked as a press spokesman for the Bavarian Greens . Between 1991 and 1992 he was the head of the Berlin tabloid newspaper Super! . From 1992 to 1999 he was in charge of the Berlin tabloid newspaper BZ. In 2000, he moved to the Cologne tabloid newspaper Express , initially as deputy editor-in-chief, before becoming editor-in-chief in 2001.

After leaving the Kölner Express in 2003, he became editor-in-chief of the tabloid newspaper Berliner Kurier and chief editor-in-chief for the buying newspaper association Berliner Kurier and Hamburger Morgenpost , both of which have been part of the M. DuMont Schauberg newspaper group since January 2009 . Buschheuer was released from his duties on March 9, 2015 at the Berliner Kurier.
