Hans-Peter Szyszka

Hans-Peter Szyszka (* 1959 in Leipzig ) is a German painter, draftsman and graphic artist.

Life

In 1974 he began an apprenticeship as a gravure etcher and in 1979 he studied at the Leipzig University of Graphics and Book Art with Arno Rink and Volker Stelzmann. Szyszka has been working as a freelance painter and graphic artist in Erfurt since 1984. He has also been working as a photographer since 1994 and as a painter again since 2006.

Szyszka works with painting techniques oriented towards the old masters. He works mainly with colored resin-oil glazes.

The Nationalgalerie Berlin owns works by the artist .
