Hans-Rudolf Peters

Hans-Rudolf Peters (born May 2, 1932 in Stadtoldendorf ) is a German economist with a focus on economic policy .

Hans-Rudolf Peters studied in Göttingen and Freiburg and received his doctorate in 1958 . From 1959 to 1974 he worked as a consultant and government director in the Federal Ministry of Economics. In 1971 he completed his habilitation in economics at the University of Marburg. From 1974 on he was professor of economics at the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg . Peters retired in 1997. He is considered the founder of the mesoeconomic interaction theory .
