Hans-Willy Mockery

Hans-Willy Hohn (born January 29, 1953 in Bonn ) is a German sociologist .

Life

Hohn received his Abitur in 1973 at the Nicolaus-Cusanus-Gymnasium in Bonn. He then studied economics and sociology at the University of Bonn , then from 1975 to 1980 sociology at the University of Bielefeld , where he was a member of Claus Offe's labor market policy project group from 1977 to 1980 . In 1980 he passed his diploma examination at Bielefeld University. From 1980 to 1985 he then worked as a research assistant at the Science Center Berlin with Fritz Scharpf . 1985 did his doctorate again at Bielefeld University. He then worked for a short time as an assistant at the chair for sociology at the University of Münster, and in 1987 he moved to the Max Planck Institute for Social Research in Cologne. In 1997 he completed his habilitation at Bielefeld University. In 1999 he represented the C4 chair for sociology at the University of Trier. In 2002 he moved to the Research Institute for Public Administration at the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer.

Hohn wrote numerous essays and several monographs, primarily on questions of research policy and labor market policy.
