Hans A. Wüthrich

Hans A. Wüthrich (born April 23, 1956 in Rheinfelden ) is a Swiss management researcher and professor for international management at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich .

After his studies and subsequent doctorate to become Dr. oec. at the University of St. Gallen , he initially worked as a management consultant at ATAG Ernst & Young in Basel. In 1990 he completed his habilitation in St. Gallen. His habilitation thesis deals with new territory in strategic thinking - from strategy technocracy to mental management . In 1993 he took over the chair for international management at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich. From 2003 to 2006 he was the founding dean of the School of Economics and Business Administration at Volkswagen AutoUni in Wolfsburg. Wüthrich is active on various bodies as an administrative, foundation and advisory board.

In November 2007 he was awarded the Heinz von Foerster Prize of the German Society for Cybernetics .
