The AutoUni is a facility for advanced training and qualification at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg . It was founded in 2002. Initially a division of Volkswagen Coaching GmbH, since March 1, 2006, she has been part of the Group's human resources department. At the beginning of 2013, the AutoUni was integrated into the Volkswagen Group Academy. Thus, it does justice to its group-wide orientation. Academic training programs are offered for employees of the Volkswagen Group. The move into the MobileLifeCampus took place in early September 2006.

The AutoUni courses, both subject-specific and interdisciplinary, are aimed primarily at VW Group members. Some events, especially evening lectures, are also offered to the public. In addition, the AutoUni carries out research projects in various research fields and oversees the doctoral program of Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft. In addition, participants in the “Faculty 73” qualification program will be trained to become software developers over a period of two years.

The MobileLifeCampus , where the AutoUni is located, is located in the north of the Hageberg district , directly on the A39 and opposite the Wolfsburg AG InnovationsCampus . The design comes from the architects HENN . The Open Hybrid Lab Factory has been located in the neighboring building, which is based on the style of the MobileLifeCampus, since 2016 .
