Johann "Hans" Biller (born August 7, 1898 - † June 25, 1980 ) was a German entrepreneur .

Biller, who previously worked as an engineer and designer at Bing -Werke AG, founded the company "Hans Biller" (with the HABI logo) for the "manufacture of metal toys" based in Nuremberg on May 2, 1935 together with his wife . The first tools came from the company Johann Philipp Meier (" Groschenspielzeugmacher " from around 1890), which had recently gone bankrupt . Before the outbreak of World War II, the company specialized in the production of mechanical toys. The factory building was completely destroyed during the war. After the production facilities had been rebuilt and the product range changed, it was not until 1948 that the go-ahead for the famous “ Billerbahn ” was given. On October 2, 1948, Hans Biller was granted a patent on the casing of the drive for toys, especially toy vehicles . In 1952 and 1976 the company moved. In April 1977 the company filed for bankruptcy and was deregistered on January 18, 1978 according to the Nuremberg business register.

As an entrepreneur, he became president of the "Association of the German Toy and Christmas Tree Decoration Industry" and the "Association of Bavarian Toy and Christmas Tree Decoration Manufacturers" - and he was President of the "European Federation of Toy Manufacturers' Associations", newly founded in 1961.

On May 3, 1962, at the suggestion of the Bavarian Prime Minister Hans Ehard , he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class, for his entrepreneurial merits . On June 22, 1967, the then Prime Minister Alfons Goppel awarded him the Bavarian Order of Merit .
