Hans Christian Schmidbaur

Hans Christian Schmidbaur (born October 21, 1964 in Marburg ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

After completing his bachelor's degree in philosophy ( Munich 1986) and studying theology in Munich and Würzburg , he was ordained a priest in 1993. After receiving his doctorate in dogmatic theology in 1992 at the University of Munich and his habilitation in 2002 in dogmatic theology at the same university, he taught as a professor of dogmatics at the theological faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (2002–2004). Since 2004 he has been teaching as a professor of dogmatics at the Facoltà di Teologia di Lugano .
